1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of Mamori’s iOS app, website, and related services. By creating an account or using Mamori, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What Mamori is
Mamori is a self-accountability product that turns alarms and habits into in-app promises. Points, salary, debt, trust, pledged items, seizure, rooms, and referee stakes are game mechanics. They have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, and do not create a financial debt or legal security interest.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, protect access to your Apple account and device, and promptly tell us about unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. You may delete your account inside the app.
4. Alarms and safety
Mamori is not an emergency alert, medical device, safety system, or guaranteed alarm clock. Alarm delivery can be affected by device volume, Focus modes, battery state, permissions, operating-system behavior, network conditions, or the app being removed. Do not rely on Mamori where failure to alert could cause injury, property damage, missed medication, travel disruption, or another serious consequence. Use Apple’s built-in Clock or another backup for critical alarms.
5. Proof and referees
You agree to submit only authentic proof and content you have the right to share. A friend or referee may review evidence and make a decision within the available app workflow. Referee decisions are an accountability feature, not professional arbitration or a legally binding judgment. Do not upload sensitive, unlawful, unsafe, or third-party content without permission.
6. Membership and billing
Paid features are offered through Apple’s App Store. Price, billing period, trial availability, renewal terms, and cancellation options are shown in Apple’s purchase sheet before payment. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through Apple at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, subject to Apple’s applicable terms. Deleting your Mamori account or app does not cancel an App Store subscription. Purchases and refunds are handled under Apple’s policies and applicable law.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not misuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to Mamori.
- Do not automate false completions, manipulate proof, or evade product limits.
- Do not harass referees or other users, impersonate anyone, or share illegal content.
- Do not use Mamori in a way that violates law or another person’s rights.
We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or legal compliance.
8. Ownership and feedback
Mamori’s software, design, graphics, trademarks, and content are owned by Mamori or its licensors. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of content you submit and grant us the limited rights necessary to host, process, and display it for the features you choose. Feedback may be used without obligation to you.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Mamori is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, a specific behavioral outcome, or that every notification or proof check will work in every condition. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mamori is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss arising from reliance on an alarm or habit reminder. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
10. Changes, governing terms, and contact
We may update the service and these Terms. Material changes will receive notice where required. The laws applicable where Mamori’s operator is established govern these Terms, without limiting mandatory consumer protections or rights available in your country. Questions can be sent to support@getmemori.app.
